- BAGHERIA AND CEFALU'

In the morning, depart to the little town of Bagheria (about 30 minutes away) in the Province of Palermo. The name derives from the Arabic Bāb al-Gerib, or "windy gateway" and in 1658, the city became the preferred location for the vacation homes of Palermo's elites in fact there are many villas in the city. Enjoy a guided visit in the most popular villa, Villa Palagonia, also knows as “Villa of Monsters” due to the terrifying sculptures that you can found in the park. It was built in 1715 and it is one of the earliest examples of Sicilian Baroque.

After the visit, enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon spend a little time in the picturesque fishing village of Cefalù (50 minutes away), it is included in the club of “the most beautiful villages in Italy”.

- SEGESTA AND ERICE

In the morning, depart to Segesta (about 60 minutes away) and visit with a local guide the archeological site. Outside the walls, along the ancient entrance roads to the city, there are the most important sacred places: the Doric Temple, the Theater, the Sanctuary of Contrada Mango and also a Hellenistic necropolis.

At lunch time, taste the local foods in a Sicilian restaurant.
In the afternoon have a short stop in Erice, also included in the club of “the most beautiful villages in Italy”, here you can taste its traditional sweets made with almond paste.
