DAY 1 - SIENA |

Arrival in Rome/Florence airport. Transfer to Siena, take a first walk in this beautiful medieval city.
(Please note that arrival and departure in Rome Apt causes an increase in the package price)

Morning tour through the city center, discover San Domenico Church, 13th – 15th century Gothic convent church, then to Palazzo Salimbeni, seat of Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank, Piazza Il Campo, the city’s focal point since the 14th century and its main square where the horse race “The Palio” is held twice a year, the Duomo, one of the loveliest creations of Italian Romanesque-Gothic art, and Piccolomini Library, a renaissance building with original, antique books and beautiful frescoes around the walls.

DAY 3 - VAL D'ORCIA |

After breakfast, departure to Val D'Orcia, a region famous for its stunning landscapes and excellent red wines. See Pienza, a rare example of a Renaissance town, S. Antimo Abbey, S. Quirico D'Orcia, Montalcino and Montepulciano, designed by Sangallo for Cosimo the I in the 16th Century, the main square is "Piazza Grande", a mixture of Gothic and Renaissance buildings. This area has become well known for its prestigious wines (Montepulciano DOC, Brunello di Montalcino). Discover them in a wine tasting experience.

After breakfast, visit the charming city of Arezzo, the Basilica of Saint Francis with stunning frescoes depicting the Legend of the True Cross by Piero della Francesca, the Church of San Domenico with the wooden Crucifix by Cimabue, the Duomo and Piazza Grande with its loggias by Vasari.

DAY 5 - CHIANTI, SAN GIMIGNANO and VOLTERRA |

After breakfast, depart to Florence. On the road, discover the wonderful Chianti region famous worldwide for its excellent red wines and where vineyard-covered hills alternate with olive groves. Take a short stop in Greve to explore its peculiar shaped square and the Wine Museum. Continue to San Gimignano, listed as a World Heritage site and which fascinates with its medieval look, enjoy the incredible view of the countryside from the towers. Here you can taste typical products and wines, visit a farm with the famous Chianina breed of cows.

After breakfast, full day tour in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, one of the Italian cities with the highest concentration of art and history. In the morning, discover the highlights: Duomo Square to see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (with its magnificent cupola designed by Brunelleschi, Giotto's bell tower and the octagonal Baptistery), Repubblica Square, Ponte Vecchio “old bridge”, Signoria Square, admire Palazzo Vecchio and the numerous statues under the beautiful Loggia dei Lanzi. Then enjoy a guided visit to the Accademia Gallery to see a replica of the most famous statue in the world, Michelangelo's David.

DAY 7 - PISA and LUCCA |

After breakfast, depart to Pisa to explore the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, where you'll be able to admire the famous Leaning Tower up close. Take time to visit the inside of the Duomo, the baptistery and Camposanto.

DAY 8 - DEPARTURE DAY |

After breakfast, pick up and transfer from your hotel to Rome/Florence International Airport. Departure. |
